Disconnect the battery cable from the negative side. Remove the old heater core. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core tubes.

I Was Able To Open It Up Enough To Pull The Heater Core Out.


I took the core into a local radiator shop and they were able to fix it by sealing off the bottom row, saved me $350 for a new core. Remove the heater hose clamps and the hoses from the engine side of the firewall. Finally remove the heater core from its casing/housing.
